1. Eligibility

Renters must be at least 21 years old (18 for gearless scooters) and hold a valid driving licence for the vehicle class. Original licence and one government ID must be produced at pickup.

2. Booking and payment

Bookings are confirmed on receipt of the advance. Balance and a refundable security deposit are payable at pickup. Rates quoted are for the dates and vehicle class booked; extra hours, extra kilometres and late returns are charged at the published rate.

3. Use of vehicle

Self-drive vehicles may be driven only by the registered renter and must not be used for racing, towing, commercial carriage, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or for any unlawful purpose. Vehicles must not be taken outside Karnataka without written permission.

4. Fuel, tolls and fines

Self-drive vehicles are handed over with a noted fuel level and must be returned at the same level. Tolls, parking, inter-state permits and traffic fines incurred during the rental period are payable by the renter.

5. Damage, breakdown and insurance

Vehicles carry standard motor insurance. The renter is liable for damage up to the insurance deductible, for damage not covered by insurance, and for the full cost of lost keys, documents or accessories. Breakdowns must be reported to 8073258561 immediately; do not arrange third-party repairs.

6. Chauffeur, taxi and Tempo Traveller services

Driver allowance is included in daily chauffeur rates; night halt, tolls, parking and permits are extra. Outstation taxis carry a minimum daily kilometre charge. Waiting time beyond 30 minutes is billable.

7. Car buy, sell and park services

For buy/sell assistance we act as a facilitator; title, RC transfer and payment terms are agreed between buyer and seller. Parked vehicles are stored at the owner's risk; valuables must be removed.

8. Accommodation bookings

Hotel and resort bookings are made on your behalf with third-party properties; their check-in, cancellation and conduct rules apply.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Krishni Rental Cars is not liable for indirect losses, missed connections, or personal belongings left in vehicles.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of courts at Kundapura, Udupi District, Karnataka.
